Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & SaaS Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of DoiT's Integrations Framework and enhance the customer experience built upon it.

• Conceptualize and deliver integrations utilizing third-party billing and usage APIs.

• Manage aspects such as authentication, incremental synchronization, rate limits, error management, schema drift, and other integration-related challenges.

• Enhance the Integrations Framework, testing tools, and scaffolding to reduce the effort required for future integrations.

• Leverage AI daily to analyze codebases and APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, create tests, and generate documentation.

• Develop interfaces for connecting, configuring, and monitoring integrations.

• Ensure health and status visibility, provide actionable error messages, manage credential and key rotation, and offer clear feedback.

• Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostic tools for customers and internal teams.

• Make functionalities available via APIs as well as through the user interface.

• Execute features from inception through to specification, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Suggest valuable product enhancements instead of merely waiting for specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on shipping and owning features in production.

• Proficient in TypeScript, particularly with modern frontend development; experience with React is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Go, or a strong backend background in Python, Java, Node.js, or C# with a willingness to learn Go.

• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third-party APIs, including authentication flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes.

• Comfortable working across the technology stack, taking ownership of features from the database layer to the user interface.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience in developing solutions in the cloud and/or with GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• A user-centric approach to operational tooling and actionable error messaging.

• AI-enhanced working style and experience with AI tools integrated into the engineering workflow.

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• A demonstrated passion for building high-quality web/SaaS applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and persistent.

• Bonus: experience in developing integration platforms or extensibility frameworks.

• Bonus: familiarity with cloud or SaaS billing data, such as AWS/GCP/Azure cost and usage reports, AI vendor billing data, marketplace billing, or FOCUS.

• Bonus: experience with Google BigQuery, Dagster, Airflow, data pipelines, or orchestration tools.

• Bonus: experience in developing AI-enhanced product features.

• Bonus: exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management solutions.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is considered a bonus.
