Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to create new features and improve existing applications.

• Design and develop both frontend and backend components utilizing JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.

• Create RESTful APIs and integrate them with third-party services as necessary.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Implement automated testing and maintain high code quality through code reviews and continuous integration.

• Enhance application performance and scalability to accommodate increasing user demands.

• Leverage and develop LLMs to boost underwriters’ efficiency.

• Troubleshoot production issues using the latest tools.

• Contribute to the strategic direction of a small yet expanding engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in full stack development.

• Proficient in facilitating and collecting business requirements to create scalable engineering solutions.

• Strong capability to design data models based on business domain use cases.

• Demonstrated ability to write maintainable and testable code.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with Python and JavaScript is advantageous.

• Background in addressing challenges related to the insurance industry/domain is a plus.

• Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks, including JS/TS, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and Node.js, is desirable.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus.
