Full Stack Drupal Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Execute full-stack development for the Drupal front end, which includes theming, configuration, and module management, alongside Python/Java back-end services.

• Oversee and maintain a public-facing Drupal website, managing content, configuration, and module updates.

• Upgrade and maintain Drupal, while also establishing standards and best practices for ongoing development efforts.

• Design, develop, and sustain Python scripts and applications operating in a production Linux environment.

• Assist in ETL processes, file transfer tasks, and JDBC-based database connectivity on Linux servers.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Linux systems, focusing on memory usage, background/batch jobs, and overall system health.

• Identify and resolve production issues utilizing expertise in Linux and Python.

• Utilize Java to facilitate integrations, utilities, and legacy component support.

• Collaborate with client technical specialists and business users throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Operate within an Agile framework to provide conceptual and technical solutions, updating designs and code in response to client feedback.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT for coding, debugging, and documentation purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant software development experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing applications on the Drupal platform.

• At least 3 years of experience with Python, Linux, SQL, and Java.

• Full-stack development experience covering both front-end (Drupal) and back-end (Python/Java) technologies.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot Linux systems, which includes memory usage, background jobs, file transfers, and JDBC connectivity.

• Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Public Trust clearance.
