Full Stack Developer, Python, Java – AI Assisted

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive features utilizing AWS infrastructure, Python and Java backend services, agentic LLM workflows, and Angular frontend technologies.

• Create and enhance agentic AI workflows on Amazon Bedrock, focusing on tool/function invocation, RAG, prompts, validation loops, and fallback methodologies.

• Take ownership of Python serverless Lambda services and Java Spring Boot/Quarkus microservices with REST and event-driven APIs, ensuring persistence, asynchronous pipelines, and message-bus integrations.

• Oversee idempotency, retry mechanisms, and dead-letter queue management.

• Define and refine AWS CDK infrastructure for multi-stack deployments, incorporating cross-stack references.

• Ensure the maintenance of backwards-compatible published APIs utilizing shared interface/schema libraries.

• Develop logic for retrieval and scoring leveraging log chunking, embeddings, vector/semantic search in OpenSearch, and relevance ranking techniques.

• Instrument systems with CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, tracing, and structured diagnostic events.

• Manage CI/CD processes on Azure DevOps, implementing gated and reversible rollouts.

• Contribute to shared foundational code through focused, well-tested changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development, specifically with enterprise server, storage, or networking products.

• Proficiency in modern Python typing, asynchronous patterns, data validation, clean error handling, and scalable codebase structure.

• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus, along with idiomatic Java.

• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies and cloud services including Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, OpenSearch, VPC, VPC Endpoints, API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, SSM Parameter Store, and ECR.

• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, JDBC, transaction management, DynamoDB data modeling, relational database design, and query optimization.

• Experience in production REST services, API versioning, and ensuring backwards compatibility.

• Familiarity with Java virtual threads and correctness in concurrency.

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture utilizing NATS.io, Kafka, SQS, or equivalent technologies.

• Practical experience in LLM/agent development, including function invocation, prompt design, RAG, embeddings, and output assessment.

• Daily utilization of AI coding agents, specification-driven workflows, and reusable agent capabilities.

• Frontend development experience using Angular and TypeScript.

• Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and mocking.

• Familiarity with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Knowledge of blue/green, canary, gated rollout, and rollback deployment strategies.

• Understanding of structured logging, tracing, metrics, secure coding practices, authentication fundamentals, and operational analytics.
