Full-Stack Developer, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain PHP (Laravel) systems, ensuring optimal backend availability, reliability, and performance.

• Analyze and troubleshoot bugs utilizing logs, metrics, and observability tools.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement enhancements.

• Support operational inquiries and reporting requirements.

• Automate recurring tasks to empower internal teams.

• Leverage AI tools and agents to expedite development, testing, documentation, and refactoring processes.

• Critically assess AI-generated code for quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate effectively with QA, Product, and PO/PM teams.

• Document deliverables and uphold cross-functional communication.

• Comprehend the product context, suggest improvements, and enhance team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with PHP 8+ and the Laravel framework.

• High-level expertise in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Advanced skills in working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Practical experience with Docker.

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience with monitoring and log/metrics analysis tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and OpenSearch.

• Methodical approach to incident investigation, root cause identification, and proposing sustainable solutions.

• Interest in or experience with Go (Golang), concurrency, or low-level programming languages.

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), CI/CD processes, messaging systems, and managing large-scale data volumes (Data Lake).

• Experience integrating AI assistants, such as Copilot and ChatGPT, into development workflows and code automation.

• Involvement in technical decision-making influenced by business outcomes and product metrics.

• Proficiency in English.
