Full Stack Developer – Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the migration and modernization of current applications.

• Update applications from an outdated Node.js version to a more recent, supported version.

• Identify and address compatibility issues, dependencies, and technical challenges associated with the Node.js upgrade.

• Provide continuous support and maintenance following the migration.

• Design and sustain backend solutions utilizing Node.js.

• Work with MongoDB for data management.

• Create and maintain frontend applications using React.

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams during both migration and post-migration stages.

• Actively identify challenges and contribute to technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience at a senior level with Node.js and backend development.

• Proficient, hands-on expertise in Node.js.

• Capable of independently troubleshooting and resolving complex backend issues.

• Experience in upgrading Node.js versions and/or migrating applications across different runtime or framework versions.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js dependencies, compatibility issues, and application maintenance.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining production-grade applications with Node.js.

• Familiarity with MongoDB.

• Experience with React.

• Ability to take technical ownership and work autonomously.

• Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Must be available to work in EST hours.

• Must currently reside in LATAM.
