Full-Stack Developer, Kotlin/React – Dev II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Incrementally write and test code while adhering to agile methodologies and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

• Perform high-quality code reviews and assist colleagues in making design choices.

• Regularly test, deploy, and monitor your code in a production environment.

• Collaborate with team members from related departments to enhance the ecosystem.

• Engage in strategic initiatives for Grupo Boticário.

• Oversee the payments platform by diagnosing issues, understanding root causes, and assessing their impacts.

• Collaboratively shape and determine the future direction of the payments platform with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions in a production setting.

• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• A keen interest in and understanding of data structures.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging practices.

• Knowledge of RESTful and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with unit and integration testing methodologies.

• A critical mindset towards performance and security considerations.

• Strong grasp of software quality, system evolution, problem decomposition, and abstraction concepts.

• Ability to quickly learn new practices, technologies, programming languages, and engineering cultures.

• Proficiency in Git or another collaborative version control system.

• Capability to perform root cause analysis for software-related issues.

• Experience in load testing procedures.

• Ability to mediate conflicts and assist in refining user stories.

• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience with containers and orchestration tools (such as Docker and Kubernetes) is an advantage.

• Background in financial products is a plus.
