Full Stack Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance features utilizing Java, Spring, and Angular.

• Play a key role in the development, support, and modernization of the Lyceum ERP system.

• Create and utilize REST APIs.

• Analyze business rules and implement them effectively.

• Address incidents and carry out enhancements and corrective maintenance.

• Develop automated tests and support quality assurance strategies.

• Engage in technical and functional refinement discussions.

• Assist in providing development estimates.

• Conduct code reviews and disseminate best practices.

• Be involved in incremental releases within an agile framework.

• Aid in initiatives aimed at reducing technical debt.

• Contribute to advancements in architecture, performance, and system stability.

• Leverage generative AI tools to assist in development, documentation, and comprehension of legacy systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience in Full Stack development with Java.

• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Background in front-end development utilizing Angular.

• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.

• Understanding of software architecture principles.

• Experience in system integration.

• Familiarity with microservices and application decoupling methodologies.

• Practical experience with Docker.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in automated testing and software development best practices.

• Relevant certifications in Java, the Spring Framework, Angular, Docker, DevOps, Scrum, or Kanban are advantageous.

• Experience with educational sector products is a plus.

• Mobile development experience is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with technology transformation and system modernization initiatives is a plus.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering is beneficial.

• Oracle certifications for the Java platform are advantageous.
