Full-Stack Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve web applications utilizing Java.

• Implement object-oriented programming principles and design patterns in solution development.

• Establish and manage integrations with relational databases.

• Produce and update technical API documentation.

• Resolve bugs, enhance performance, and refactor existing code.

• Collaborate effectively within Agile frameworks.

• Engage in technical discussions and suggest ongoing enhancements to solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology or a related area; or completion of a higher education program with a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.

• Strong background in Java development.

• Expertise in object-oriented programming, including Collections, Generics, Lambda expressions, Stream API, exceptions, I/O, and Java language capabilities.

• Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.

• Understanding of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), MVC, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle or PostgreSQL; proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL/PL/pgSQL; query optimization; and execution plan analysis.

• Knowledge of MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Webhooks, REST, and SOAP protocols.

• Experience in unit and integration testing, including JUnit and TDD methodologies.

• Understanding of application security, authentication and authorization mechanisms, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Keycloak, and OWASP standards.

• Proficiency with Git, Docker, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container/orchestration environments.

• Experience in deploying applications and executing continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.

• Familiarity with functional and non-functional requirements analysis and Agile methodologies.

• Ability to assist in the analysis, development, support, and enhancement of highly complex solutions.
