Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve essential services that facilitate customer intake, screening, and data distribution.

• Detect and address performance constraints and architectural challenges.

• Take full ownership of implementation while working across the entire stack.

• Suggest creative, data-driven solutions that function efficiently at scale.

• Collaborate in a dynamic, open, and highly technical atmosphere.

• Lead and mentor fellow developers and engineers.

• Provide high-quality software solutions.

• Design and construct efficient microservices.

• Steer technical decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in full stack development.

• More than 5 years of practical experience in React development.

• Strong foundation in Java-based web development and distributed systems.

• Proven track record of building production-quality React applications, including components, routing, state management, APIs, and optimization.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Comprehensive understanding of application architecture and contemporary design patterns.

• Proficient in Git, including branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in leading engineering teams or mentoring developers.

• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with integrating AWS SDKs, such as S3.

• Experience in developing scalable RESTful services within cloud environments.

• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and associated testing tools.

• Familiarity with modern UI/UX principles.

• US citizenship is required.

• Public Trust/Other Required: BI Full 6C (T4).
