Full-Stack AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and implement production-level AI solutions.

• Develop structure-aware document processing workflows utilizing Azure AI Document Intelligence for PDF/DOCX and page-level citations.

• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), hybrid keyword/vector retrieval, and enterprise search capabilities using Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, and embeddings.

• Build cloud-native services leveraging Azure Container Apps, Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, and Microsoft Foundry.

• Construct backend APIs and asynchronous workers utilizing Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js/NestJS, and React.

• Create AI prompt templates, structured JSON outputs, evaluation harnesses, and citation/schema validation tools.

• Design Dataverse data models and integrate AI solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Implement security, identity, monitoring, and observability features using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Enhance the performance, throughput, token usage, reliability, and production readiness of AI solutions.

• Collaborate with product owners, domain experts, and cross-functional technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 6 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering and AI/ML development.

• Proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure AI solutions in a production environment.

• Strong expertise in RAG, vector search, hybrid retrieval, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, and Generative AI.

• Proficient development skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js/NestJS, and React.

• Experience in Azure cloud-native development, specifically with Azure Container Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Microsoft Foundry.

• Familiarity with Intelligent Document Processing, document layout parsing, structure-aware chunking, and text extraction.

• Experience integrating with Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Knowledge of AI evaluation, structured output validation, citation validation, telemetry, and monitoring.

• Preferably experience as an AI Technical Lead or Data Science Lead.

• Research publications in computer vision, NLP, OCR, neural networks, or text recognition are a plus.

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and enterprise AI platforms.

• Previous experience in large enterprise Microsoft Azure/Power Platform environments.

• Candidates must reside outside the Philippines.

• Must be able to align with Manila business hours and the client’s business calendar and holidays.
