This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare applications, incorporating reusable components using contemporary front-end frameworks and component-based architectures.
• Build data-rich user experiences, visualizations, and workflows that clarify intricate clinical information and aid clinician decision-making while adhering to WCAG and ARIA accessibility standards.
• Implement user interfaces that facilitate Clinical Decision Support workflows, which include CDS cards, notifications, actionable clinical insights, and experiences tailored to patient context.
• Connect front-end applications with backend services and clinical data sources, showcasing AI-generated summaries with proper transparency, usability, and traceability to source records.
• Create and sustain automated unit, integration, and UI tests, engage in code reviews, utilize AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to application quality and usability benchmarks.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile setting on sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, user acceptance testing, production releases, as well as technical documentation, design specifications, and release materials.
• Assume additional responsibilities and tasks as necessary to support team goals and ensure the project's success.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Proficient hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript, encompassing responsive web design principles.
• Experience in creating modern, component-based web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar.
• Proven experience in applying accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG and ARIA.
• Background in developing complex, data-intensive user interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to convert complex technical or business requirements into user-friendly, intuitive experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience working effectively in Agile, multidisciplinary software development teams.
• Experience with Veterans Affairs (VA), federal healthcare programs, or healthcare technology environments is an additional asset.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and Clinical Decision Support standards such as FHIR, C-CDA, CDS Hooks, SMART on FHIR, or related technologies is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare data visualization, human-centered design methodologies, AWS or Azure cloud environments, AI-generated content, or AI-assisted software development tools is an additional qualification.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including necessary fingerprinting, when required for the role.
• Candidates must reside within the continental United States.
