Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create intricate frontend web applications.

• Develop microservices using Node.js.

• Innovate and bring new concepts to life from the ground up.

• Collaborate with product designers and developers to design and launch new features.

• Construct high-quality, accessible, and efficient interfaces based on Figma designs and wireframes.

• Partner with backend engineers to implement APIs.

• Conduct testing to guarantee a high-quality user experience.

• Craft reusable libraries and custom logic with comprehensive test coverage.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Reduce technical debt while advancing new features.

• Assist in scaling the team and fostering an engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing complex web applications from scratch using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proficiency in Node.js backend development, preferably with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.

• A degree in Computer Science is required.

• Ability to meet deadlines and deliverables.

• Capability to work in an agile environment.

• Strong written communication skills in English are essential.

• A passion for cloud computing along with an interest in decentralization and blockchain technologies.

• Competency to excel in a startup atmosphere and collaborate within a small, cross-functional team.

• Willingness to work in a self-organizing setting and take the initiative on projects.

• Previous remote work experience and/or team leadership is advantageous.

• Experience in maintaining open source software, especially libraries and/or frameworks, is a plus.
