Mid-level/Senior Front-end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Vectara’s front-end engineering team.

• Contribute to the flagship Console product, the company website, and the Vectara UI React component library.

• Take charge of strategic technical and architectural choices.

• Influence the engineering culture by having meaningful autonomy and a direct impact on customer experience.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to enhance UI and introduce new features to the Console.

• Proactively suggest improvements that drive growth and boost productivity.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing.

• Develop front-ends for demonstrations, open-source initiatives, and marketing resources.

• Proficient in TypeScript and React.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Comfortable addressing ambiguous challenges with a structured approach.

• Initiative to identify issues and comprehend their wider business implications.

• Inquisitive nature and a desire to learn new concepts.

• Experience in resolving engineering challenges in the browser using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Capability to analyze, decompose problems, and design as well as implement high-quality, maintainable solutions.

• Experience in articulating ideas in written form through RFCs, design documents, or similar documentation.

• Ability to organize and present technical information clearly to audiences with diverse technical expertise.

• Proven track record of delivering strong results for engineering teams, businesses, and end-users.
