Frontend Developer – React Js, Next Js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

• Create dependable and responsive user interfaces based on approved designs and API specifications.

• Troubleshoot browser-related issues.

• Contribute to maintainable and well-tested code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and hooks-based component development.

• Solid understanding of component lifecycle, effects, memoization, and strategies to avoid unnecessary re-renders.

• Familiarity with Next.js, Vite, or a similar contemporary front-end build framework.

• Experience with Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or an equivalent state-management library, including the effective use of selectors.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS, with skills in responsive layouts, semantic markup, and scoped styling.

• Understanding of accessibility principles, including keyboard navigation, focus management, and appropriate ARIA implementation.

• Experience with design systems such as IBM Carbon, Material UI, or a comparable component library.

• Ability to accurately implement interfaces from Figma designs or other visual guidelines.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and managing loading, error, empty, and partial-data states.

• Knowledge of polling, request cleanup, and defensive strategies for handling incomplete or unexpected API responses.

• Familiarity with environment configuration, package management, and front-end build processes.

• Experience in writing unit and component tests using Vitest or Jest along with React Testing Library.

• Strong debugging skills using browser DevTools and experience resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.

• Understanding of Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative delivery workflows.

• Capability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable front-end code.

• Good knowledge of secure client-side development practices, including handling environment variables and safe logging.

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
