Frontend Developer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for AI-driven prototypes and MVPs.

• Take the lead in implementing web front ends using technologies such as React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

• Assist with light backend tasks and integrations as required.

• Create high-quality, responsive web applications utilizing React.js alongside modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Develop reusable components and manage state patterns, including Redux, Zustand, and React Query.

• Ensure accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Integrate backend APIs, AI endpoints, and real-time features like WebSockets.

• Construct interfaces for AI/LLM applications, including chatbots, copilots, dashboards, and agent consoles.

• Design user flows that are seamless, manageable, and reliable.

• Establish feedback mechanisms to assess and enhance AI solutions.

• Collaborate with backend developers to outline API contracts and data models.

• Engage in light backend tasks, scripts, or BFF layers.

• Recognize technical constraints and opportunities early during the design phase.

• Work alongside UX/UI designers to convert wireframes and prototypes into production-ready interfaces.

• Provide technical insights regarding feasibility, effort, and opportunities for simplification.

• Participate in user testing sessions or reviews to refine interface and interaction patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with React.js and modern front-end development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).

• Experience in integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and validating client-side state.

• Familiarity with UI frameworks/design systems, including Material UI, Chakra UI, and Tailwind.

• Understanding of best practices in performance, accessibility, and responsive design.

• Interest in or practical exposure to AI-powered interfaces, such as chat, copilots, and content generation.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environments.

• Experience with Next.js, SSR/SSG, and SEO-optimized web applications.

• Familiarity with building real-time interfaces utilizing WebSockets and event streams, or dashboards.

• Knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and Storybook-style documentation.

• Exposure to analytics/telemetry, including user events, funnels, and heatmaps.
