Front End Software Engineer – 6-Month Fixed Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Convert design specifications and prototypes, like Figma designs, into pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces.

• Create reusable, well-organized components while ensuring a consistent design system is maintained.

• Develop data-rich views such as inventories, detailed pages, and interactive dashboards.

• Guarantee cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility.

• Construct interactive tables, filters, and visualizations for large structured and semi-structured datasets.

• Incorporate charting and visualization libraries such as ECharts, D3, or Recharts.

• Utilize virtualization, pagination, and lazy loading techniques to enhance data-heavy views.

• Contribute to the development of conversational and natural-language query interfaces for AI-assisted functionalities.

• Connect frontend applications with REST/GraphQL backends and streaming endpoints.

• Design strategies for state management, data fetching, caching, and synchronization.

• Manage loading, error, and empty states effectively.

• Enhance rendering performance, optimize bundle size, and improve load times.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Engage in code reviews and ensure the frontend code is well-documented.

• Collaborate with designers, product teams, backend engineers, and data engineers.

• Assist in creating proofs of concept, demos, and integration pilots.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer with internal and partner teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, emphasizing frontend skills.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, alongside modern HTML5 and CSS3.

• Practical experience with a contemporary component-based framework (React preferred; Vue or Angular also acceptable).

• Demonstrated ability to transform design mockups and prototypes into production-ready interfaces.

• Comprehensive understanding of responsive design, cross-browser behavior, and web accessibility standards.

• Experience with REST or GraphQL API integration and application state management.

• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and version control using Git.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication abilities.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience in creating data-rich interfaces, operational dashboards, or analytics tools.

• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3, ECharts, Recharts) and techniques for optimizing large-table performance.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook).

• Exposure to BI/analytics platforms such as Superset.

• Experience in building chat or conversational UIs for AI/LLM-enabled features.

• Understanding of security concepts or experience with cybersecurity products.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress) and frontend observability tools.
