Front-End Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Execute UI designs based on specifications while closely collaborating with product designers and managers.

• Utilize design judgment to enhance UI elements, boost usability, and guarantee a polished, consistent user experience across various screens and workflows.

• Develop reusable UI components and aid in establishing consistent UI patterns throughout the product.

• Connect front-end features with back-end services and REST APIs, managing loading, error, and empty states.

• Maintain front-end quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Enhance front-end performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

• Adhere to best practices for security and privacy when managing user data.

• Work collaboratively with back-end engineers, QA, and product teams to implement iterative improvements.

• Construct and refine web applications utilized by non-technical users, including healthcare professionals and end consumers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and oral (minimum B2 level), with exceptional communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

• Over 7 years of industry experience as a Front End Engineer developing web applications.

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Possess a strong product and design sensibility, capable of creating polished, intuitive interfaces and making thoughtful UI/UX decisions in evolving design scenarios.

• Thorough understanding of component architecture, maintainable front-end patterns, and API integration.

• Experience in integrating with REST APIs and managing real-world edge cases effectively.

• Knowledgeable in front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices.

• Familiarity with contemporary front-end build tools and workflows, including Vite and Webpack.

• Experienced with version control systems such as Git.

• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in a cross-functional team.

• Creative problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools is advantageous.

• An independent, motivated approach with a proven ability to take ownership and execute tasks autonomously.
