Front-End Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain responsive, accessible user interfaces utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Execute UI implementations based on designs and specifications in conjunction with product designers and product managers.

• Enhance UI details, boost usability, and guarantee polished, uniform user experiences.

• Create reusable UI components and support consistent UI patterns throughout the product.

• Connect front-end features with back-end services and REST APIs, including managing loading, error, and empty states.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of front-end functionality.

• Optimize front-end performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

• Adhere to security and privacy best practices while managing user data.

• Collaborate with back-end engineers, QA, and product teams to implement iterative enhancements.

• Design and enhance web applications utilized by healthcare professionals and consumers accessing healthcare information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and oral, at a 90% level or higher (minimum B2), with outstanding communication skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant Engineering discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional experience as a Front End Engineer developing web applications.

• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Keen product and design awareness, with the ability to make informed UI/UX decisions.

• Solid grasp of component architecture and maintainable front-end patterns.

• Experience in working with APIs and integrating REST APIs.

• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with contemporary front-end build tools and workflows, including Vite and Webpack.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Capability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools is advantageous.

• Self-motivated and driven, with a proven ability to take ownership and work independently.
