Front-end Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain responsive web applications utilizing React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript.

• Create reusable, component-driven user interfaces that align with design specifications and application needs.

• Implement responsive layouts and styles using Tailwind CSS.

• Integrate REST APIs, focusing on authentication, query parameters, loading states, and error handling.

• Examine API documentation and Postman collections to comprehend API contracts and develop frontend functionalities.

• Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to ensure seamless frontend/backend integration.

• Utilize Git for branching, pull requests, and managing code review processes.

• Diagnose and resolve frontend bugs, compatibility issues, and performance challenges.

• Engage in code reviews and apply constructive feedback.

• Assist in the development of new applications and features, including greenfield projects.

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to development standards.

• Collaborate with the internal team to guarantee timely client service delivery and fulfill client expectations.

• Execute other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical professional experience in developing applications with React.

• Hands-on experience with Next.js, particularly the App Router.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Practical experience using Tailwind CSS.

• Proficient in using Git, including branching, pull requests, and code review procedures.

• Understanding of component-based development and the creation of reusable UI components.

• Familiarity with REST API integration, covering authentication, query parameters, loading states, and error handling.

• Capability to interpret API documentation, including Postman collections, to implement frontend features based on defined API contracts.

• Solid understanding of responsive design, frontend debugging, and sustainable coding practices.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to convert design specifications into functional user interfaces.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Nice to have: Experience with AWS Amplify.

• Nice to have: Exposure to deploying or hosting frontend applications using cloud-based services.

• Nice to have: Experience working on greenfield applications or projects.
