French Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with advanced language models focusing on scenarios involving the French language.

• Evaluate models on aspects such as grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, pragmatics, and stylistic diversity.

• Assess factual correctness and logical coherence.

• Document instances of model failures and capture reproducible error patterns.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in the development of high-quality training datasets for next-generation AI language models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the French language, encompassing grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to assess advanced language models with regard to French verb conjugation, gender and number agreement, idiomatic expressions, phonetic subtleties, sentence structure, and stylistic variation.

• Proficiency in documenting model failures and capturing reproducible error traces.

• Ability to verify factual accuracy and logical consistency.

• Skill in suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to clearly demonstrate your thought process.

• A master's degree or PhD in French language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or practical linguistic analysis projects is indicative of a good fit.
