Freight Procurement Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive consulting services for significant industry shippers.

• Manage intricate transportation RFPs/RFIs and implement tenders from the planning stage to execution.

• Convert customer shipment and rate information into strategic insights by utilizing platform analytics and scenario-modeling tools.

• Provide engaging user training and consultative support to facilitate SaaS platform adoption.

• Collaborate with international sales, product management, and engineering teams.

• Consistently enhance client outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the logistics or transportation industry.

• Experience in supporting operations for carriers or shippers.

• Knowledge of RFP processes, transportation bid management, and data-driven analytical problem-solving.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Outstanding communication abilities in customer-facing scenarios.

• Capability to independently manage complex priorities in a remote environment.

• Professional proficiency in English, with additional fluency in either Spanish or Portuguese being a plus.
