Freight and Business Analyst Engagement – UK Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate carrier and forwarder pricing, manage lane tendering, create rate comparison databases, and negotiate commercial enhancements using consolidated group volumes, with an emphasis on final mile carriers.

• Oversee essential freight operational processes, track daily activities, and manage exceptions, ensuring proactive client communication regarding shipment status updates.

• Facilitate organized knowledge capture sessions with the Freight Lead and convert operational insights into standardized SOPs, runbooks, and checklists within Notion.

• Review freight and warehouse operations to confirm that all billable activities, accessorial charges, and custom client requests are recorded accurately and invoiced accordingly.

• Conduct cost and process evaluations, update the Notion workspace, prepare daily operational reports, and carry out special analytical assignments from the Chief Executive.

• Establish pre-despatch controls and checklists to mitigate documentation and shipping errors at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics procurement, carrier rate negotiation, or 3PL operations.

• Strong Business Operations Analyst background with experience in agency/consulting, excellent process mapping skills, and a keen interest in learning about freight commercial operations.

• High level of proficiency in data analysis, rate benchmarking, cost modeling, and creating structured management reports.

• Demonstrated ability in writing SOPs, developing process workflows, and building knowledge libraries in Notion or similar workspaces.

• C1 Level or higher proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Availability for full shifts during UK business hours (09:00 to 17:00 UK time).

• Preferred: Practical experience with WMS software (Mintsoft or similar), carrier portals (DHL, Evri, etc.), and freight rate databases.
