This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a diverse range of clients

• Prepare and finalize translated materials prior to client delivery

• Convert English-language content into Vietnamese

• Handle documents within the Legal and Insurance industries

• Collaborate effectively with managers and Project Managers

• Execute Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tasks as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in translating from English to Vietnamese

• Exceptional written and spoken communication abilities in Vietnamese

• Expertise in Legal fields

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Capacity to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines

• Candidates must agree to sign a confidentiality agreement

• Applicants are required to complete complimentary Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM assessments

• One of the following qualifications: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or a related degree with substantial translation training) from an accredited institution; 2 years of translation experience alongside a college degree; 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; or a government-recognized certificate of competence in translation

• Relevant experience in Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM should be detailed in the CV

• The CV should include the proposed best per-word rate in USD for Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading services

• Proficiency in Vietnamese is mandatory

• Proficiency in English is mandatory
