Freelance Synopsis Editors – Entertainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create or revise synopses in English for one of the largest streaming services worldwide.

• Enhance synopses composed by other freelancers to improve coherence and effectiveness.

• Apply feedback through several review cycles.

• Edit around 35–40 synopses after completing training and onboarding.

• Dedicate approximately 20–30 hours per week to this role.

• Collaborate with international creative production clients and teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native English speaker.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in copywriting and editing.

• Reside in the United States.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to respond promptly to feedback.

• Must be able to provide a portfolio or examples of previous work.

• Preferred: Background in writing and/or editing synopses for shows or films.
