Freelance Site Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and site budgets independently for clinical trial sites located in Germany and Spain.

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize CTAs, site budgets, and their amendments.

• Lead negotiations for contracts and budgets with clinical trial sites, including university hospitals and legal departments.

• Create site budgets based on both internal and external benchmarks as well as approved study assumptions.

• Implement country-specific contracting requirements and seek legal or local support when necessary.

• Recognize and address contractual risks, negotiation challenges, and possible effects on study timelines.

• Manage contracting timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely execution of agreements.

• Utilize approved negotiation stances and escalate exceptions as necessary.

• Collaborate with sites, study teams, Legal, and other stakeholders.

• Review contract redlines, address comments within authority levels, and assist other negotiators.

• Maintain accurate records of contracts and provide clarity on status, risks, and subsequent steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in contracting for clinical trial sites within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors.

• Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate and finalize CTAs and site budgets in Germany and Spain.

• Strong understanding of pertinent clinical trial regulations and country-specific requirements.

• Excellent communication abilities in both German and English.

• Experience in oncology, cell therapy, study start-up activities, and working in sponsorship and CRO environments is advantageous.

• Proficiency in additional languages and broader European contracting expertise is a plus.
