Freelance Quality Controllers, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct post-linguistic quality assurance on essential documents

• Confirm that no paragraphs are either missing or untranslated

• Ensure that the formatting of the target file accurately mirrors that of the source

• Verify that tracked changes from the source are correctly reflected in the target

• Assess the linguistic accuracy of inclusion and exclusion criteria

• Validate numbers, symbols, and units, including dosage and time measurements

• Review drug names, sponsor names, protocol details, and study titles

• Check proper names, including Principal Investigators and other relevant individuals

• Examine headers, footers, tables of contents, and hyperlinks

• Identify formatting discrepancies, missing content, and errors in key text sections

• Collaborate with translators and project managers

• Background in multilingual quality control or a similar area

• Proficient in reading and comprehending both English and German

• Comfortable reviewing medical and technical materials

• Skilled in Microsoft Word and its Review functionalities

• Exceptional attention to detail with a keen ability to spot errors

• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with translators and project managers

• Capability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently

• Previous experience in translation quality control and linguistic services is preferred

• Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards is advantageous

• Familiarity with various language scripts and alphabets is a bonus
