Freelance Online Mandarin Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, prepare, and deliver 45-minute online Mandarin sessions for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 lessons that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Design tailored learning trajectories.

• Monitor student progress throughout the lesson.

• Establish clear and attainable learning objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Mandarin at C2 level.

• Possession of a valid teaching qualification such as TEFL/CELTA or relevant university degrees.

• Experience in online education and delivering 1:1 coaching or customized learning support.

• Minimum B1 level in English.

• Ability to teach skills related to presentations, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and instruct students.

• Access to high-speed internet.

• A modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local freelance or contractor regulations.
