Freelance Online Mandarin Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, organize, and conduct online 45-minute lessons tailored for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 lessons that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Design customized learning pathways.

• Monitor student progress during lessons.

• Establish clear educational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• C2 Level proficiency in Mandarin.

• A valid teaching certification, such as TEFL/CELTA or equivalent university credentials.

• Experience in online education and delivering 1:1 coaching or tailored learning assistance.

• A minimum of B1 level in English.

• Proficient in teaching skills such as presentation techniques, negotiation, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication.

• Strong communication abilities to effectively engage and instruct students.

• High-speed internet connection.

• Modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Compliance with local freelance/contractor regulations is required.
