Freelance Online Japanese Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver 45-minute online lessons for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 lessons that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Develop customized learning pathways.

• Monitor student progress throughout the lesson.

• Establish clear learning objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese at a C2 level.

• Possession of a valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or relevant university degrees.

• Experience in online education and delivering 1:1 coaching or tailored learning support.

• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.

• Ability to teach skills such as presentation techniques, negotiation strategies, business email etiquette, meeting management, and multicultural communication.

• Exceptional communication skills to engage and instruct students effectively.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local regulations regarding freelance or contractor work.
