Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Educate and assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation assignments

• Collaborate with CAD designs

• Initiate and conduct fluid simulations

• Develop verified reference solutions

• Create Python scripts for agent outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant field such as energy or oil & gas

• Several years of practical industry or research experience in CFD using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing expertise

• Strong verification and validation skills, encompassing mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental data or benchmarks

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher

• Preferred: background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery

• Preferred: experience with multiphase or particle-laden flow
