Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Educate and assess AI agents in high-level fluid simulation tasks.

• Utilize CAD geometry to configure and execute simulations.

• Develop validated reference solutions.

• Create Python scripts to validate AI agent outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline such as energy or oil & gas; a PhD is preferred but not mandatory.

• Several years of practical industry or research experience in CFD using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including expertise in meshing.

• Strong background in verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental results or benchmarks.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with GitHub.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Preferred: experience in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery sectors.

• Preferred: experience with multiphase or particle-laden flow.
