Freelance Legal Interpreter – Immigration Proceedings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote interpretation services for immigration court hearings in the U.S.

• Assist with hearings across various U.S. time zones from your selected location

• Interpret asylum, removal, credible fear, bond, and related legal proceedings

• Provide simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, and sight translation services

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have lawful permanent residency

• Minimum of one year of experience in judicial interpretation

• Proficient in interpreting for immigration courts

• Experienced in simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, and sight translation

• Required to submit a resume along with a brief overview of judicial/legal interpreting experience

• Application must include language pair(s), certification(s), and availability
