Freelance Japanese - English PPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Oversee Google Ads campaigns targeted at Japanese audiences, including Search, Performance Max, and Display formats.

• Translate and customize ad copy specifically for Japanese consumers.

• Perform keyword research focused on the Japanese market.

• Analyze search term reports and keyword data to guide optimizations and develop negative keyword lists.

• Offer strategic insights regarding targeting, ad structure, and campaign messaging.

• Compile regional performance insights and metrics in alignment with a global PPC framework.

• Work collaboratively with English-speaking teams across various time zones in an asynchronous manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Japanese, with strong spoken and written capabilities.

• Capable of translating and modifying ad copy for Japanese audiences while preserving brand voice and cultural sensitivity.

• Demonstrable experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Performance Max, and Display.

• Preferably experienced in managing Google Ads for B2B clients.

• Familiarity with local keyword research tools and methodologies pertinent to the Japanese market.

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting search term reports and keyword data in Japanese.

• Skilled in providing strategic recommendations on targeting, ad structure, and messaging for campaigns aimed at Japanese audiences.

• Knowledgeable about regional performance reporting and global PPC frameworks.

• Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration across time zones with English-speaking teams.

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in paid media.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• Native, Fluent, or Professional proficiency in the Japanese language.

• Experience with NAVER ads is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in the Korean language is a plus.
