Freelance Clinical Facilitator – Operating Department Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging and interactive simulated learning sessions for students participating in virtual placements.

• Assist students in enhancing their clinical knowledge and skills.

• Offer constructive feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

• Collaborate with university partners and internal colleagues to ensure students have an exceptional placement experience.

• Create or evaluate high-quality course content and learning materials aimed at healthcare students.

• Develop accurate, engaging, and evidence-based educational resources.

• Guarantee that content is aligned with current clinical practices and is suitable for the target learners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).

• Significant experience in a clinical environment.

• Background in supporting, supervising, or instructing healthcare students.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in using digital platforms and online learning tools.

• Strong IT skills, particularly in Google Workspace.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a larger team.

• Dedication to providing high-quality education and aiding student learning.

• For content development tasks, skill in producing clear, accurate, and evidence-based written materials.

• Practice Educator training or qualification (preferred).

• Experience in creating or reviewing healthcare education materials (preferred).

• Familiarity with delivering teaching or training in a virtual setting (preferred).
