Freelance AI Trainer, Mandarin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, annotate, and test AI-generated outputs for grammatical precision, fluency, and adherence to cultural context.

• Serve as the main quality assurance for production, pinpointing and rectifying nuanced cultural inaccuracies or awkward expressions in Mandarin.

• Assess quality trends in tasks and create educational materials along with feedback documentation.

• Deliver native-level language assessment during project expansion.

• Provide expert linguistic advice throughout the production process.

• Work independently to conduct linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or academic background in linguistics, education, or related areas that demand a keen attention to linguistic detail.

• Previous, relevant experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed Mandarin language proficiency at the C1 or C2 level.

• Capacity to convert raw feedback and quality trends into organized, actionable educational materials.

• Careful attention to language and the ability to detect and amend subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.

• Native-level capability for Mandarin language assessment and quality assurance.
