Fraud Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming calls from cardholders to confirm unusual debit card transactions.

• Make outbound calls to cardholders for the purpose of verifying questionable debit card activity.

• Acquire knowledge and utilize the fraud case management features of the fraud detection system.

• Recognize and report on developing fraud trends.

• Aid in reducing fraudulent transaction occurrences.

• Engage with both internal and external customers in a professional and respectful manner.

• Work during the 2nd shift, Tuesday to Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in banking, financial services, or fraud detection is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proven reliability and dependability in a metrics-focused environment.

• Capability to operate in a dynamic inbound and outbound call center setting.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

• Enthusiasm for contributing to an organization dedicated to continuous improvement and achieving objectives.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks across several computer screens.

• Skill to communicate verbally and type simultaneously while on calls with cardholders and financial institutions.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
