Fraud Analyst Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze customer accounts to gather strong evidence for resolving disputes.

• Evaluate and utilize data to gain insights into customer behavior and uncover opportunities.

• Supervise fraud dashboards to enhance proactive fraud prevention efforts.

• Engage in special initiatives related to fraud and chargebacks.

• Collaborate as a member of the larger Strategic Operations team.

• Make meaningful contributions to projects that are implemented and utilized.

• Join team meetings, participate in Slack discussions, and attend social gatherings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program focusing on business or finance.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred experience of 1–2 years in a professional setting.

• Familiarity with data analysis is an advantage.

• Enthusiasm for engaging with people, processes, and systems.

• Strong work ethic and eagerness to contribute to a rapidly growing startup.

• Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.

• Quick learner with a strong desire to excel.

• Candidates must reside in Canada.

• Minimum 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time Zone is required.

• Availability for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

• Must be able to work core hours from 9/10 am to 5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in start/end times.

• Must reside in the country where the educational institution is located for the entire duration of the internship.

• Internship must be part of an academic program or completed independently, if applicable.
