This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee fraud alerts and conduct investigations into potentially fraudulent transactions and account activities.
• Examine suspicious behaviors to uncover fraud trends and patterns.
• Confirm fraud activities by reaching out to cardholders and financial institutions.
• Manage incoming and outgoing customer interactions regarding fraud, lost or stolen cards, and account issues.
• Review and oversee fraud-related tickets, requests, and escalations.
• Collaborate with teams in fraud operations, card services, payments, and dispute resolution.
• Assist in fraud prevention efforts and process enhancements.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex fraud cases.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of investigations and their outcomes.
• Work four 10-hour shifts per week, from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM Central Time, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Contribute to a 24/7/365 operational environment.
• 1-3 years of pertinent work experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Confidence in handling phone conversations with customers and financial institutions.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Proficiency in identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Capability to navigate multiple systems and applications concurrently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: Experience in fraud investigation, fraud operations, or risk management.
• Preferred: Background in banking, payments, financial services, or fintech.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM or case management systems.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL for research and data analysis.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting customers within a call center or operations setting.
