Fractional Chief Medical Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical executive during enterprise sales conversations with health plans and organizations that bear risk.

• Deliver presentations on the clinical strategy, care model, evidence base, and anticipated outcomes for hypertension, diabetes, and CHF programs.

• Establish credibility with Chief Medical Officers, Medical Directors, Population Health leaders, Quality and Stars executives, and Quality leaders.

• Assist in crafting RFP responses, finalist presentations, and executive briefings.

• Collaborate with Sales to tackle clinical objections and position the platform distinctively against competitors.

• Represent the organization at industry conferences, payer forums, and customer engagement events.

• Propel the publication of research that illustrates savings for payer partners.

• Contribute to commercial expansion, strategic collaborations, and clinical product strategies.

• Work alongside Sales, Product, Clinical Operations, and Executive Leadership to convey clinical value and foster clinical innovation.

• Create a framework for assessing and showcasing clinical outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD with an unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, or a related specialty.

• Over 10 years of experience in clinical leadership.

• Familiarity with CMS Stars, HEDIS, NCQA, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Experience with Medicare Advantage populations.

• Profound knowledge of management strategies for hypertension, diabetes, and congestive heart failure.

• Experience in delivering presentations to executive audiences in healthcare.

• Strong comprehension of value-based care, quality programs, and population health.
