This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey, +5 more countries.
• Oversee, prioritize, and manage the daily activities of FP&A Analysts, which includes reviewing their work and offering coaching and feedback.
• Take ownership of recurring models, forecasts, analyses, and reporting within the designated functional area.
• Assess financial models and analyses for accuracy, logical coherence, methodological soundness, transparency, and usability, while reconciling outputs with source data and financial statements.
• Examine financial and operational outcomes, pinpoint significant drivers, question assumptions, and formulate clear management explanations.
• Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and other decision-support analyses within the assigned domain.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and additional departments to gather necessary inputs, resolve discrepancies, and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Maintain clear assumptions, supporting schedules, version control, change logs, and process documentation for key models and reports.
• Enhance, standardize, and automate ongoing FP&A processes and reporting.
• Assist with broader FP&A, due diligence, and strategic initiatives as required.
• Corporate Planning & Performance responsibilities include annual budget and reforecasts; consolidated three-statement forecast; operating expense and headcount planning; variance analysis; and management reporting.
• Portfolio & Capital responsibilities encompass origination and portfolio forecasting; NPL, REO, and recovery forecasting; cash and liquidity management; facility and covenant forecasting; and capital scenario planning.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or a closely related finance role.
• Previous experience leading, reviewing, mentoring, or coordinating the efforts of analysts or other finance professionals.
• Strong comprehension of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash-flow statement, including the capability to construct and interconnect a three-statement model from scratch in Excel.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling competencies, including scenario analysis, model development, and reconciliation with source data.
• Strong analytical judgment with the ability to identify significant business drivers within large or incomplete datasets.
• Capability to effectively communicate financial results, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in at least one functional area mentioned above; candidates are not expected to be experts in both.
• Ability to handle recurring deadlines and maintain regular communication in a remote working environment.
• Experience in commercial lending, mortgage lending, specialty finance, banking, or another financial services setting (preferred).
• Experience with consolidated planning and forecasting, lending or portfolio analysis, liquidity and capital planning, or related work aligned with the assigned area (preferred).
• Experience in enhancing or automating ongoing financial models and reporting processes (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
