FP&A Operations Manager – IR & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for Investor Relations within the Power segment.

• Oversee the preparation of Q&A responses that align with segment data and strategy.

• Innovate by digitizing and automating manual processes that rely on Excel for data collection.

• Deliver strategic ad hoc analytics in the capacity of CFO analyst.

• Direct recurring operational and financial activities, including the synthesis of monthly commentary and communications for executive leadership.

• Assist in Budget & Strategy planning and the closing cycles.

• Update financial models for the Strat 360 journey.

• Manage closing activities, which include Gas Power data requests, margin analysis, and additional financial reporting.

• Spearhead organization-wide transformation projects related to LBR, transitions in operational hierarchy, Nuclear/Hydro BAM, and Workday Tier 3/4 updates.

• Collaborate with finance teams from Business Lines and promote the adoption of new reporting standards.

• Oversee the deployment lifecycles of financial tools and carry out change management strategies.

• Ensure controllership and financial compliance with GE Vernova policies and internal controls.

• Mentor and develop finance professionals.

• Manage ad hoc initiatives such as Direct Air Capture, Enterprise Risk Management, and support for the Pricing Steering Committee.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

• At least 7 years of finance experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Preferred experience in a leadership role.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

• Capability to partner with and motivate an operating team.

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in leading programs and projects.

• Skills in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established project management expertise.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, as applicable.
