This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to evaluate performance indicators and trends.
• Ensure the precision and integrity of financial data across various business units.
• Manage the monthly close process to report results and analyses to executive management, the board of directors, and investors.
• Develop, enhance, and sustain financial models and forecasting tools.
• Oversee the budgeting process by integrating financial trends, market conditions, and strategic objectives.
• Connect financial data to operational and performance metrics across departments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and metrics to guarantee compliance with audit standards.
• Deliver strategic analyses to executives and departmental leaders.
• Assess the profitability of business transactions to aid pricing and sales strategies.
• Assist with due diligence efforts during mergers and acquisitions.
• Advocate for best practices in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate and implement innovative AI-enabled tools and technologies to automate analysis and forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or data analysis.
• Ideally, experience in the technology, managed services, and/or professional services industries.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Good understanding of reconciliation techniques and data-matching methodologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications.
• Capability to effectively utilize AI tools such as Claude.
• Proven experience with ERP and financial systems, including NetSuite, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.
• Ability to integrate data from multiple platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to convert large data sets into actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance in reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, executives, and investors.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• MBA is strongly preferred.
