This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis of essential performance metrics and trends across various business units.
• Manage the monthly close Book utilized to communicate results and analyses to Executive leadership, the Board, and investors.
• Develop, enhance, and uphold financial models and forecasting tools that align with business objectives and growth strategies.
• Oversee the budgeting process by leveraging financial trends, market conditions, and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with different departments to connect financial data with operational and performance metrics.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and metrics to ensure audit compliance and accuracy.
• Offer strategic financial insights to executives and department leaders for effective planning and decision-making.
• Assist with evaluations of sales transaction profitability on an as-needed basis.
• Support M&A due diligence initiatives as required.
• Promote the adoption of best practices in financial data analytics and reporting.
• Assess and implement AI-enabled data tools and technologies to streamline analysis and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or data analysis.
• Preferred experience in the technology, managed services, and/or professional services sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Solid understanding of data bridging techniques.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Capability to effectively utilize AI tools like Claude to consistently achieve desired outcomes.
• Proven experience with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or MS Dynamics.
• Proficient in integrating data from multiple platforms.
• Strong analytical abilities and skill in synthesizing large datasets into actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to financial data accuracy and reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, executives, and investors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• MBA is highly preferred.
