
FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Analyze, report, and forecast capital expenditures for projects that are either in service or under development.
• Assist in providing a 12-month outlook for monthly liquidity reporting and weekly cash forecasting related to construction activities.
• Collaborate with teams across Construction, Structuring, M&A, Capital Markets, Accounting, Community Solar, Legal, and FP&A.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure the accuracy of forecasts.
• Prepare monthly analyses comparing budgeted versus actual capital expenditures and budget-to-budget variances, highlighting key drivers and offering management insights.
• Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and project planning initiatives.
• Enhance and develop existing systems and processes.
• Create presentation materials for monthly liquidity meetings and annual budget discussions.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automating manual FP&A processes through the use of AI/LLM tools.
• Prepare materials that compare actual cash flows against modeled cash flows for operating portfolios.
• Manage ad hoc responsibilities and projects as they arise.
• Report directly to the FP&A Manager.
• Travel is required, not exceeding 10% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, team-oriented entrepreneurial setting.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, or other BI tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different levels and functions within the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational capabilities.
• Preferred AI power user - confident in using AI tools for data cleaning, modeling, and analysis.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
