This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead significant architectural choices throughout the tech stack and take full ownership of feature development from start to finish.

• Incorporate LLMs and machine learning models into actual production workflows, which include RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt execution, agent-based systems, and fine-tuned models.

• Develop scalable systems while effectively balancing short-term investments against long-term growth potential.

• Design efficient APIs and internal services that drive the product comprehensively.

• Ensure reliability, security, and a smooth customer experience.

• Create new features and functionalities for over 200 customers of Clipbook.

• Work collaboratively within a compact engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in building and scaling production systems.

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend services, data models, and distributed systems, with deeper expertise in one or more specific areas.

• A genuine enthusiasm for rapid development and quick deployment.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Familiarity with AWS or GCP.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Spark, Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, streaming pipelines, ETL at scale, high-volume scaling, fault tolerance, eventual consistency, LLMs in production, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, inference optimization, Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and high-concurrency systems.
