Founding Clinical Coordinator, Radiography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop the clinical education segment for Stepful's Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program.

• Relate clinical and theoretical education while assessing alignment each term.

• Establish and validate the clinical site network, obtain accreditor recognition, uphold affiliation agreements, and appoint clinical preceptors.

• Identify student clinical placements and scheduling, ensure equitable access to procedures, maintain student-to-clinical-staff ratios, and orient students to their sites.

• Implement clinical supervision and radiation safety protocols, distribute exposure reports, and conduct MRI safety screenings.

• Onboard, train, assist, and communicate effectively with clinical preceptors.

• Monitor clinical competencies and hours, provide student advising, and devise remediation plans.

• Aid in accreditation documentation, assessment strategies, clinical outcomes evaluation, reports, submissions, and site visits.

• Engage in didactic and/or clinical instruction, with the potential to teach clinical courses for the inaugural cohort.

• Keep abreast of professional developments, program policies, and student progress.

• Travel to Texas partner sites for evaluations, preceptor training, clinical visits, student counseling, and accreditation inspections.

• Report to the Imagine Programs Lead and collaborate with the Program Director, as well as operations and partnerships teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reliable access to a major airport and readiness to travel to Texas.

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.

• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.

• Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.

• A minimum of two years' clinical experience in radiography.

• At least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.

• Skilled in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.

• Familiarity with the JRCERT Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography and ABHES clinical experience requirements, or a willingness to learn.

• Prior experience as a clinical coordinator or clinical instructor in a JRCERT-accredited radiography program is advantageous.

• Experience in managing clinical education across multiple sites or health systems is a plus.
