
Founding AI Training Partnerships Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of strategic opportunities within frontier AI organizations, AI training and data companies, AI-native enterprises, and consulting partners.
• Collaborate with potential clients to grasp intricate AI training challenges and formulate commercial solutions.
• Manage opportunities from the initial outreach phase through to discovery, solution development, commercial negotiations, and closure.
• Engage with internal stakeholders throughout the sales journey.
• Team up with the Strategic Projects Lead to evaluate project feasibility, align customer expectations, and ensure successful delivery of proposed engagements.
• Foster strategic partnerships with organizations in the AI ecosystem and enhance high-value customer relationships.
• Optimize the commercial operating model, which includes pipeline management, account prioritization, forecasting, pricing insights, and sales processes.
• Incorporate market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends into the overarching AI Training strategy.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, enterprise sales, strategic accounts, or another customer-facing commercial role in dynamic or emerging technology sectors.
• Preference for candidates with experience in AI companies, AI infrastructure providers, AI training organizations, or other businesses that support model development.
• Established relationships within the AI ecosystem are advantageous.
• Proven track record in selling services, data, marketplaces, expert networks, talent solutions, or similar offerings that require operational delivery and customer collaboration.
• Strong commercial acumen and capability to navigate uncertainty, assess complex opportunities, prioritize tasks effectively, and devise innovative solutions.
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and communication.
• Experience in engaging with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI training concepts such as post-training evaluations, expert data, reinforcement learning environments, quality assurance, or related workflows is preferred.
• Must be remote within the United States and able to work primarily within U.S. time zones.
