Foundation Grant Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute the necessary activities to prepare, submit, and oversee grant proposals aimed at foundation, corporate, and government sources.

• Conduct research, compile data, write, and edit grant applications.

• Foster relationships with funders and internal stakeholders to enhance grant initiatives across the Mercy ministry.

• Collaborate closely with internal project managers to track funding expenditures and report on outcomes.

• Serve as the intermediary between program staff and funding agencies.

• Carry out responsibilities in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• At least three years of experience in grant writing.

• Proven ability to draft persuasive, clear, and concise proposals.

• Experience in developing, writing, coordinating, and submitting intricate federal, state, and county government grant applications.

• Strong grasp of government funding regulations, proposal creation, budgeting, submission processes, and grant application platforms.

• Experience in coordinating government grant proposals that involve multiple stakeholders, departments, and subject matter experts.

• Capability to research and assess grant opportunities while collaborating with clinical and operational stakeholders to create competitive project concepts in line with grant specifications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to plan, prioritize, adjust priorities when necessary, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
