Foster Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Support youth and caregivers to ensure the effectiveness and stability of foster placements.

• Elevate the visibility and awareness of the foster care program.

• Assist with various administrative responsibilities.

• Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives.

• Improve the program’s presence on social media platforms.

• Perform home visits.

• Offer case management and support to foster families.

• Coordinate services effectively.

• Oversee documentation and compliance responsibilities.

• Work collaboratively with internal staff and community partners.

• Create content or materials for outreach purposes.

• Engage with the community to recruit and support new foster homes.

• Provide urgent or emergency assistance to foster families through the on-call weekend rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid Driver License and adhere to any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards applicable to your department.

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Must qualify as a Qualified Professional in SC.

• Successful completion of a drug screening test is mandatory.

• An extensive background check is necessary.

• Ability to primarily serve clients in Greenville, SC.

• Availability for some evenings or weekends may be needed based on family requirements, events, or outreach opportunities.

• Participation in an on-call weekend rotation for 24/7 support and coverage is required.
